SOFTA plays a significant role in organisation and management of some important events in the college. The club not only conducts its club activities & events but also organises various different events & meets at college level. Under this avenue, the club organizes the five major events as follows-

1. FE Admission Process- Every year, SOFTAites volunteer in the first year admission process under the guidance of the College Admission Authorities. The club members help the student visitors in understanding the admission process, online form-filling, registrations and other technical activities. This enables a smoother admission process for students and their parents.

2. Induction Program- As per the guidelines of AICTE, it is made mandatory to conduct a 10-15 days Induction Program for newly admitted first year students. Hence, the club members help the Induction Program Authorities to smoothly conduct the whole program as per the schedule and technically handle all the sessions. In the case of online scenarios, the volunteers help in technical setups, managing meetings and communicating notices to students.

3. Director’s Address- This activity is mainly conducted during the offline mode and is the first official interaction of college authorities with the first year students. This event involves tasks like anchoring, students’ coordination, distribution of academic kits and conduction of ice breaking activities, which are carried out by SOFTAites.

4. Alumni Meet- It is one of the most awaited and prestigious events organised by the college. This meet also ensures strengthening a strong bond between the alumni and current stakeholders of the institute. SOFTA plays a vital role in smooth management of this meet. Some of the various tasks carried out by club volunteers are beautification of campus, confirming the online registrations, distribution of kits, coordinating with alumni, program anchoring, etc.

5. Convocation Ceremony- This event is officially conducted to confer the degrees to the outgoing batch of college. SOFTAites help in smooth management and coordination of the whole event under the guidance of concerned authorities.
